Heavy Metal Furs?

Molecular, kind of like me. Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax is when I started with music, along the way discovered lots of bands I love now, always now I'm discovering new bands.

Right now listening a lot to Bloodbath, Divine Empire, Deicide, Narjahanam, Cannibal Corpse, Nile, and Jungle Rot. I'm into the death metal the most.

I guess it depends on my mood for what I listen to, but you can guarentee that it'll be some metal  Been listening a lot of Devin Townsend after getting his last album, and was just blown away.  Still waiting for The Kovenant to release another album.  Been waiting since like 2002 -huge facepaw-

Huge fan of black metal/doom metal, mostly, bands I listen to include: Leviathan, Darkspace, Mayhem, Darkthrone, I Shalt Become, Behemoth (though they are blackened death metal), Dark Funeral, Shape Of Despair.. many! xD My favorite is probably Leviathan though.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I usually listen to power metal while I'm doing stuff, but I've started taking more of a liking to folk and death metal recently. I know bands like Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Tyr, Scar Symmetry, In Flames and Amon Amarth, are there any more I should check out in particular?

Nutmeg maybe Arkona (Аркона), Ásmegin, Ensiferum, Einherjer, Heidevolk, Skálmöld, and Skyforger might catch your attention  (most are mixture of Folk and Viking Metal)

You really can't go wrong with the older stuff.  Still sounds as epic as it did back in the day

I'm mainly into death and thrash. That is Tankard, Sodom, Exumer, Dark Angel, Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust, Warbringer, Testament, Overkill, Death, Bolt Thrower, Cancer, Debauchery, Possessed, Autopsy, Amputated, Mortician, Arghoslent.

And some positive happy metal like Mayhem, Gorgoroth, Immortal, Carpathian Forest and Marduk.
Others: Venom, WASP, Skid Row, Motorhead, Dio, Finntroll, Trollfest, The Exploited, The Analogs (Polish), Skunx (also Polish) and Rammstein.

good choices Brigand, was just listening to Possessed and Autopsy, my favorite band in the genre is Bloodbath.
