I listen to a bunch of different kinds of metal, but I usually prefer my metal on the more extreme side; Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, etc.  Some samples of what I have been listening to lately:

Really into three subtypes of metal: black, death, and thrash. I've been listening to thrash and death metal since sophomore year of high school. Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, Napalm Death, Corrosion of Conformity, Slayer, Anthrax and Cannibal Corpse.


I've only recently gotten into black metal with King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Venom and Celtic Frost.
