Cello! My friend! I have wanted to play cello, or the upright double bass. Preferably the bass though.  :* but sadly, I cannot read bass clef very well. It's a shame, especially when I want to teach music.  :(
I really wanted to play the double bass but for my intro strings class they didn't have enough for me to have one so I picked up the next best thing, the cello ^_^ also don't be discouraged! I couldn't even read music 6 months ago and now I can read all the clefs, I'm still not the best at sight reading though lol if you ever want any help I'd be happy to lend a hand

Thank you sir. If I need assistance I will make sure to contact you. Though I have been able to read music since I was very young, but I never really knew that it would help me in the future.

So many instruments  :o I want to learn how to play the organ.

This past weekend, I went to a state level competitions where I participated in multiple ensembles and a solo. I received a Division I, AKA a "Superior" rating, in all the events I was involved in. My solo was really pretty. And tomorrow, I will be leaving for my state's jazz championships! Hope we place first!! B)

Accordion?  They confuse the crap outta me XD  Who knew turn a piano keyboard sideways would make my head explode?

I have a Feadog tin whistle in D.  Perfect (and portable) for folk festivals!

They definitely take some getting used to  ^_^

I've got an old Feadog D whistle as well! The fact that you can stick them easily into any old bag is fantastic xD

I received depressing news from a friend because I did not go to school today.
As a musician in high school/secondary school, I've grown very attached to my band director; by far the best teacher I've ever had for anything. But today I learned he is no longer staying with my school. I am sad, because he is really cool and wanted me to do crazy cool things on my bari. It is a sad day for a band kid at my school…

Yeah I taught myself to play as well. But I like sheet music because I can read notes.

Sorry to hear that man :/ teachers who are able to actually teach and make it an enjoyable experience are hard enough to come by, Wish you and your fellow band members the best *hugs*
