Ray looked critically at Felicity. "Well, when we see Data again, I'll have to do a little talking with him.  I hope he doesn't think the newborn will replace you. Felicity, you are indeed a special child." He smiled, as a light flickered on, revealing his one-winged shadow. He fluttered his wing briefly, causing a few jet-black feathers to fall from the sky. Ray took one, and handed it to Felicity. "If you ever need me, whilst I'm away, put this on the ground."  Ray heard Lee, and stared at him critically. "Look, friend. There's no need for that language, especially with a child present."

Ray walked over to Dubaku, and put a paw on his shoulder. "Dubaku...calm yourself. If he meant us harm, we'd already be dead. Let him go, you've startled the poor man." He pulled Dubaku's paw open, and pulled Lee off to the side. "Sorry about my friend, there. He's rather angry."
