[Scout Brighton]

"C-can I ask what tests...?" Ebony asks, looking at the mini flashlight.

[Rayleonarde]

*I nod, smiling.* "Sure.  I just need to see if your pupils do something. The test is very fast, and non invasive, I promise." *I reach into my pocket, and remove a latex surgical glove.* "So, may I continue, Miss Ebony?"

[Scout Brighton]

Ebony looks over at Ray. She sighs. "O-okay..."

[Rayleonarde]

*I hold Ebony's eyelid open, while I shine the light in her eye, causing her pupil to contract. I pull away, satisfied.* "That's it...I'm all done."

[Scout Brighton]

An extra tear falls as Ray lifts her eyelid. She gives a small yelp as she closes her eye and rubs it. "S-sorry..."

[Rayleonarde]

*I look at Ebony.* "There's no need to apologize. You've been through a lot recently." *I turn, and walk towards the kitchen.* "You want anything?"

[Scout Brighton]

"S-something to drink, p-please...?" She says, wiping the tear and blinking to get her vision back.

[Rayleonarde]

"Sure thing." *After a few moments, I come back two bottles of water, and hand one to Ebony. I slide down the wall, and sit beside her.*

[Ben]

"Hey ray can you come gun hunting with me, hey ebony you can tag along if you'd like"

[Scout Brighton]

Ebony takes the bottle and opens it and takes a sip. She puts the cap back on and looks over at Ray sitting next to her and smiles. "Thank you..."

[SadDubwool]

*Knocks on door*

[Rayleonarde]

*I open my bottle, and take a sip.* "Hey, it's nothing...we're family now.  We gotta stick together."

*Knocks on door harder*

[Ben]

Opens the door "so I'll take that as a no"

Ebony looks up at Ben. "S-sorry, Mister...I-I think I'll be better off here..."
