Walks out into the basement shotgun shouldered I look around cautiously

[SinGenesis]

Is holding his pistol firmly, checking all the corners.

[Rayleonarde]

*I walk back out.* "We can whisper now, I was afraid the Defiler would be at the door.  Just, stay together." *I check my shotgun before moving forward.*

[SinGenesis]

"Alright."

[Ben]

"Ok so where do you think it will be"

[Rayleonarde]

*I shrug.* "Not sure, though he should pick up on Miss Ebony's presence soon.  So be ready at any moment." *I fiddle with a panel on a wall, and florescent lamps light the lab.*

[Ben]

I begin walking forward looking around

[Rayleonarde]

*I clap a paw to my forehead, exasperated.* "Right...I forgot to tell you what this thing looks like.  Kind of imagine the Hunchback of Notre Dame, except instead of a hump back, it's a huge pulsating sack.  It also has these barbed tendril things, and it's not afraid to let you know.  Don't shoot it if you're close, it'll release a horrible puff of...smoke, I guess...makes it hard to see and breathe."

Ebony stops. "W-wait...m-my presence...? W-why only mine...?!" She asks, scared but quietly.

[Rayleonarde]

*I sigh.* "Miss Gaia's presence would have the same effect as well.  See, as a female, you have a pheromone that you produce naturally. This attracts the Defiler, because, unfortunately, they can't infect others to become Defilers.  They...uh...they breed...but Defilers only come in male forms...so..." *I rub the back of my neck, nervously.* "They...they use females to...multiply..."

*I walk outside*"Any fleshb-OH SHIT!!!!"

[Ben]

I point to something slouching off in a corner "is that it" smirks a bit then re shoulders the shotgun "we won't let the bugger touch you ebony"

[Rayleonarde]

*I walk over to Ben.* "No...that's my assistant!" *I sprint toward the figure, and slide beside it.* "Miss Connors, are you...?" *She moans weakly, and her abdomen begins writhing.  I quickly draw the handgun she had on her hip, and empty the magazine into her stomach.  I walk away, sighing.* "She...that thing got her..." *I walk over towards one of the laboratory rooms, and sit in an office chair, paw held over my face.  The wall behind me shimmers slightly.*

*Looks at an infected cagon*"THOSE **censor**'S CAN FLY NOW!?!"
