Yeah, it's weird.  baby blue was considered a girls colour pre-war.

Actually, pink was considered a boy's color because it's a pastel shade of red, which was considered manly. While girl's was light blue because it's a calm spiritual color associated with virginity, I believe.

Even more alien to modern folk is the idea of gender neutral clothes.  For most people kids wore white dresses for the first few years and it wasn't considered gendered.

Turning this kinda back to the dream thing, a lot of the time I have dreams where I'm not even myself. I'm sorta playing the role of someone else. I've been different sexes and races in various situations, many of which being eerily realistic. That sort of thing is what inspired me to have sort of a shapeshifter persona. It's an ability I wish I actually had in reality. :I
