That's so tricky- I don't want for a 2 to appear on either side of the 0.

Think about it... if someone adds to 1, there is non binary 2. If I post 0x2, it is mathematically equivalent to 0, or it can be seen as two 0's, 00. So if you do want to stay binary, 0ing helps make sure we do stay binary by not giving the option of NB 2.
