At the moment, I'm fleshing out specific characters to use in different stories and stuff. See if it can force some consistency or something. Either way I'm enjoying thinking up and noting down different personalities and such.

Nice! Developing characters is my favorite part of writing stories. I like diving into their heads and figuring out the details of their behavior and what they think about wherever the plot is taking them. It's also fun imagining the characters' banter with each other.

I haven't quite developed enough for that yet, fleshed out two most of the way, still don't have a name for one just a placeholder.

Sounds like a literal hell, I usually just glare at my phone if it rings and it's a unknown or private number or if I don't recognise it

A month or so ago I got some voicemail from a woman trying to contact someone about a family member suffering from health issues, and later she called from a hospital saying the person was in the ER.

I felt so bad she couldn't properly contact the guy she was looking for. :I

Don't feel bad, I'm like 95% certain I'd have reacted the same way. I don't think it'd be easy to tell that person that given how they must have been feeling, maybe they noticed it was the wrong number afterwards though.
