The army (at least in America, and in peacetime) is a pretty good job once you pass basic training, I think. You may have to do lots and lots of physical work, but the benefits are pretty goo. My dad (stationed in Germany) didn't have to pay for housing! And plus, you'll get a whole buncha respect if you can say that you're an army guy. It'll scare your average dumb*ss, I think.
