I have telephobia - im horrified of talking on the phone, even with someone who i otherwise would have no problem texting, or meeting in person. To the point where, if I have to call to make an appointment or call in sick etc, I will be pacing back and fourth in my room for like 15 minutes having a nervous breakdown before I do it

My girlfriend is the same way. She'll even walk 4 blocks to get food from a take out restaurant instead of calling ahead to speak to the SAME person who takes all the orders.

I got over that fear myself when I worked in a consulting firm, everyone calls everyone. I was forced to use the phone all day everyday. The only time you spoke face to face with people were in meetings and company events lol

I also hated that job. I'm so glad I left xD

On the subject of trouble with speaking over phone, I admit I have trouble speaking with service people, regardless of phone or face-to-face. Asking for help in stores is a no-go, and the less I have to converse, the better

I always try to find my way around child blocks on websites and stuff, not for any desire to actuolly view any adult content, but simply because I could never understand that sort of censorship and I like the idea that I could if I so chose.

Im the same. Admittedly, I will want a peek at something if it exists.
I usually remove the blocks because they do get in my way sometimes.
Especially on DA. Good comics, some with bleeding art

You're fine, that's pretty much the whole reason I rust took the blocks off deviant art. It was fine unto they tree ride to block for blood. Then the gloves came off

On the subject of pronouncing letters weirdly I will sometimes pronounce "R"s as "W"s and vice versa. So the word railway will occasionally become "whale-way". The worst thing is I can't predict when it will happen.


I like to imagine a whale-way is a station underwater for fish where they get in a whale to use a transport. Sounds awesome.
