A black Ford Thunderbird rolls onward in the backcountry roads of the rural American North. The V-8 rumbles as I sit behind the wheel, with my best friend at my side.
"So, what's over in Blackwood we gotta kill? Some demon? Ghost?"

I look from the map to the road and back.
"Yeah, something like that. The locals are saying children are going missing into the night."
I look back down at the map.

"Some big time demon's been snooping around the city. People disappearing in large number... Sounds fun." Cori pulls into the city outskirts and into a gas station.
"Want anything? Drink?"

Camille grumbled gruffly, stepping from his car after locking it.
Blackwood, another semi-rural town in the Mideast of the US. Another mysterious entity and energy source. He cracked his neck a bit in the night, listening bleakly. The jackal sighed a bit and leaned against the car while he waited.

8PM.
He took his grimoire from his pocket, hand floating over it to reveal its real size; and then flipping to an open page. A map of the city came up; it was active. Depositing it again, Camille double checked its alarm and began to walk down the street in the direction, past a certain gas station; leather jacket and jeans making him look rather normal. The goal was to capture this before 10; the later it got, the more troublesome it'd be.
Jesus didn't die for this.
