If that makes sense, what do you use for your line work?

     Ah ah, an artirt never reveals his sec- wait. No that would be magicians. Heh. No okay so for my construction lines and detailing i use a Faber-Castiel (supernatural reference) HB pencil which i need to be so freaking careful with lest the lines darken irrerasably (word creation is fun!) and sharpen up to twice for consirtency. I know i erase all the pencil work but it stil helps for inking. Speaking of inking - which i strongly suspect was the topic of the question - i use an Artline200 0.4 Fineliner which is great! They seldom bleed but you need to have paper of a good thickness otherwise it is clearly visible on the other side. Utter rubbish for that thin, lined writing paper. They also require slow to moderate usage speed for long lines - say with a ruler - or work becomes inconsistent. But going over detailing lines is never something one rushes...im sorry for the tl-dr, i just assumed anyone who reads this will recognise the awesomeness of the inking pen and go buy one or want to know how to use one...um...

I have an inking pen that I haven't tried out yet, it's water proof because it's meant to be used with some watercolour pencils I got.


I see I need to get it together and use it.


I've spent my life being told not to show outlines but Furry art seems to be the very opposite.

     OH MY GOD GUIEZ!!!!! I had the best idea! So last night I was up at two am from an intense Resistance: Fall of Man session that lasted till midnight - and I had a totally unrelated idea! So imma draw myself and everyone on my friendship list in a cute a.f. Chibi gallery of awesomeness highlighting the times of Enigir "AJ" Shosa! All of us in one adorable, blobby chibi pic!
     In other news I came up with a true Poison Drinker form for dear ol' AJ. Still working on the hair but he's evil looking as all heck!
     Oh by the way the chibi gallery pic was inspired by something I might upload later while I have advanced internet access for the day. Right now I haven't breakfasted and my neck hurts a bit.

MY NEW SONA! And an AJ true form concept trying to kill me, just like any loving monster of an adopted son would. Might colour it.
     Then that TFF character thing I JUST mentioned. Might ink it.
     Then a concept did a new deer-fox hybrid character! I'm not using this concept. It doesn't "fit" ya know?

     Not what I promised to draw but I was fired up and talking to the Aconator herself when the pencil started flying. Also listening to Natsu Dragneel's theme from Fairy Tail doesn't help.
     This pic is so much less of what it could be. The next/firT pic of Acon is gonna blow this relative cow pat of a drawing CLEAN out of the water!
      Sorry, Acon. I feel I've done your character a great disservice with this one.

     Oh! Um...Trix? This ain't Acon! Hehehe, this guy is Selt Nitero. My second pic of Acon is actually very pretty though.
     As for you Ani, hush a minute. I'm redoing yours cause I got your costume all wrong - I'm such a detail freak.
     AWESOME new idea sure to challenge the 'new species' slot of TFF, currently occupied by the Poison Drinkers! IM CHALLENGING YOU ACON! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! More details later.
