Update on the Kukhleuvar. I think Kukhle is pickle in some language. Maybe German or Swedish.
The Kukhleuvar are a non mammal like species of sentient organisms.
They all possess a spear like tail that ranges in length and can all expand to 4 times it's length. Kukhleuvar are mainly warrior like and behave as such.
Rites of Passage involve brutal survival methods and fghting to prepare young ones for conflicts.
Most can choose to take easier Rites which just get them acceptance into the society. As a result, many have become outcasts due to natural disability mutations and such. Although it sounds bad being an outcast, They are still accepted into society but have a lower reputation status among the warrior half of the society. The caste system is very loosely used since they represent a more simplified democracy. Meaning that ranks and tiers of groups exist but they are not strictly held to their nobility or rites. So anyone can do anything and have any occupation, but there are parts of the society where it weighs heavily. Those are the more biased and pushy sects of the society, but they exist primarily as an economic stabilizer for high cost sources. Those sources include politics, war, government benefits, funding, galactic taxes, space imports/ exports, etc.
Kukhleuvar are highly noble and loyal. They, in fact, represent one of the many races in the galaxy who possess a strong attachment to their owners like a loyal butler. But they also know when their attachment is doing wrong against others and have a strong sense of humbleness and peace. Not all share the same characteristics, just most of them.
Kukhleuvar are primitively intelligent, yet possess technology that outspecs current knowledge. Their bodies are powerful, lance like, machines. The have 5, sometimes 6 fingers and 2 thumbs, which make them highly skiilled in combat and weilding any weapon of choice. And if the situation is different of favoring, the Kukhleuvar can adapt to the situation. For example. If a Kukhleuvar soldier held a human weapon, it would be too small for his hand, but he can adapt by taking his two or thee middle fingers and dislocate them, moving them up to his wrist. Or maybe even the other side of his hand to get a better grip.
Some Kukhleuvar go through a mysterious metaphasical phenominon where their bodies mysteriously form into a semi synthetic form. Like a cyborg, the metamorphed Kukhleuvar has cybernetic qualities. Even though it is classified as semi-synthetic, or cyborg, in human understanding, it is actually not metallic in any way. It is a mysterious, purely organic change in the body of the Kukhleuvar. Though it is as wonderous as the species itself, it not common which is why it's rendered as a phantasmic phenomena. It happens with every 1 out of 2,000,000 Kukhleuvar. And the race currently colonizes three whole planets in its galaxy. All habitablre for them and hardly any other.
