She had finished her waffles and was sitting there for quite awhile when she suddenly heard movement in the room and then a door open then close. She turned to see that Arke was no longer in the room. Huh...I wonder where he's going... She thought to herself. She shrugged and decided to turn on the TV in the room and watch the news. The anchorman had transformed too. He was talking about the bomb and how humans had changed into animals but they had no information on how or why this was happening...then it changed to the weather, but she didn't really care about that...she had started thinking again. Then my parents must've changed too. I wonder if they know anything about what's happening besides what the news is saying...probably not. How in the world am I going to find out what has happened? I have no authority or anything. She didn't know what she was going to do now. She shut off the TV and left the room. She decided to take the stairs; she was in one of her moods where she needed to move, she couldn't just stand or sit in one spot. She went through the lobby and out onto the street. She felt like walking down the middle of the road, although she didn't know why, so she did. She walked at a slower pace than normal, looking down at the pavement as she walked. She didn't plan on trying to catch up to Arke, she hadn't even tried to figure out which way he went, she just wanted to walk.
