For a minute her mind went blank, but she returned to earth with the sound of Erek's voice. "No, it's nothing. I'm fine...just...memories...I should go and get my bed...set up...goodnight Erek..." she managed a weak smile, and picked up her throw. She went into the living room and dumped it on the ground, before going into the kitchen and getting a glass of water. She felt a fool. She had been so stupid.
Natasha went back into the living room, where Romor had settled down and fallen asleep on her throw. She picked him up, still sleeping, and dropped him on the armchair, then found a pillow, lay down on the sofa and tried to sleep. But she couldn't. She tossed and turned for about half an hour and then gave up, resorting to read a magazine instead.
