There was a Greek philosopher that was trying to accomplish that too I think, point is it worked though

I always imagine "historical documents" as being the collected scribbles of another person from another time, not thinking they were actually contributing to future information about the past, just kind of thinking their notes would fall into obscurity someday and be lost with the passage of time. I sometimes wonder if the chances of the documents being considered of importance falls of rises with the socioeconomic status and/or considered importance in the events of recent years.
