Ray kept his sail down, so that he could use the oars. He knew this was slower going, but it made him feel more at peace. He rowed into the docks, and to his consternation, no dock was available. Ray sighed, and dropped anchor, just a few yards away from a much larger ship. He hoped the captain, or at least the boatswain saw him stop. Ray knew it was still early, and most crews of a ship that size, to his knowledge, would still be sleeping. To be safe, he hoisted a flag, and waited. Ray dropped a fishing line into the water, and waited.
