Magnolia shook her head. "Unfortunately, no. We wouldn't have been able to even if we could; Acon would have killed it." She pointed a finger up at the ceiling. "Although I don't know how that happened. Perhaps my late Rayleonarde had a sibling? Maybe sterilization was something that happened to him rather than being born with it? I don't know, but that boy upstairs is definitely an ancestor."

Ray, after a few minutes, took off his suit jacket, and walked downstairs. His normally well kept hair had, yet again, become a disheveled mess. Ray sat on the floor in the corner of the living room, waiting for something to do.

Magnolia thought for a bit. "Gaia. I haven't seen much of her. My guess would be she went back to heaven after the human race was saved. The past thousand years must have the most uneventful for both her and Death." Magnolia sighed.

Acon led Ray out of the house and through the warm sand to the wood sidewalk that separated the house from the large body of water. She absently rubbed at her head, feeling the same sharp pain as she did when she first woke up that morning. "So... where ya from?"
