[Rayleonarde]

Ray had kept his number, but had a much cheaper phone. He didn't have caller ID, which made him suspicious. Ray decided to answer anyway. "H-Hello?"

[Aconitum]

Acon paused for a moment before letting out a sigh. "R-ray? It's me... Acon."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray flinched. "S-Shit. A-Acon...Acon Lovien?" He stared into space, and didn't know how to feel, his heart sang, because she still remembered him, but his brain wracked itself, to figure out why she would call.

[Aconitum]

"Y-yeah..." She said awkwardly. "How've you been?" She mentally scolded herself for being so dumb. He probably didn't even want to talk to her after all she said to him.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray chuckled, still flabbergasted. "W-Well, I"ve been better. It's getting harder and harder to find work, I'm running out of money, and I'm trying to duck my landlord. B-But that's me, what about you? H-Head of the family now, r-right?"

[Aconitum]

Acon shook her head and let out a sad laugh. "Yeah. I think... I just wanna sign the business over to someone though. My dad and Vinnie are dead. My mom... she's getting remarried and moving to England. Henry's adopted family is coming on the morning to pick him up for the first time. I just don't want to be a part of this anymore."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed. "I'm sorry...I...If...no...never mind." He didn't want to ask, but Ray wondered if Acon could use him for support. "D-Do you want to...I don't know...hang out?" Ray kicked himself for being so stupid, but he felt like maybe she needed to relax and catch up.

[Aconitum]

Acon felt light headed. 'He actually wants to hang out?' She looked at Henry who gave her a thumbs up and urged her to keep going. "Y-yeah. Yeah, I'd like that." Acon felt as though a huge weight was being lifted from her shoulders.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed, and smiled. "O-Okay. I'll come get you." He stood, and walked towards the estate. Within minutes, Ray stood a few feet away from Henry and Acon, his paws behind his back, and his nose pointed at the ground.

Henry turned and fixed Ray with a smile. He turned to sit on his knees in the chair as he watched Ray approach.

Ray sighed, and cleared his throat. "Ahem...A-Acon?"

[Aconitum]

Acon jumped and whipped around to face Ray. He surprised expression quickly turned to a smile and she got from her chair. Acon covered the distance quickly as she ran and jumped into Ray's arms, hugging him tight. "Ray! I'm sorry!! I was a super sonic jerk to the tenth degree!"

Frank sat at the dining table across from him was Lucy, Satan sat beside him and Alice and Amy sat next to each other beside Lucy.

Amy looked at Alice, smiling.

Lucy ate the food what was plated in front of her.

Ray didn't know how to respond, so he did what he felt was right. He returned the embrace, tears in his eyes. "I...I'm sorry...I should've tried harder...I should've stuck it through..."

[Aconitum]

Satan picked at her food, a live frog she insisted on Frank buying for her since she was picky about killing and eating her own food.

Alice tried to contain her smiles as she shoved noodles into her mouth.

Acon let out a relieved breath. She was glad he hadn't pushed her away in disgust, but felt like something was still wrong.
