Ray nodded, and scooped Acon up, carrying her like a child. "Yeah...he's got Ronnie under surveillance. If he's half as smart as I think he is, Ronnie's death isn't news." He reached Acon's room, and lowered her into her bed. "Get some rest, alright?" Ray smiled, and left, turning out the lights. He headed down stairs, and found Ronnie's body gone. "Jesus. Tough bastard." Ray picked up the discarded clothes, and found another note, signed by Ronnie. A few drops of blood sat on the corner.
/Gotta be better than that, Ray. Mad that I got your girl first, huh? Too bad you interrupted. I'll be sure to finish next time./
F**k you,
Ronnie K.
Ray crumpled the note, and sighed. He'd have to keep an eye on Acon. Ronnie was crazy, and wouldn't try alone. Ray shook at the thought, and put Acon's clothes in the washing machine, after emptying her pockets. He sat in the arm chair, across from the couch, and stared at the blood stain.
