Magnolia shook her head. "No, no. It was no trouble at all! You haven't bothered me."

Acon shrugged. "Yeah, turns out he was like an alternate personality to my mom's husband. At some point, he separated from Jayce and my grandmother looked at him as a threat so she killed him, leaving the other dude without a physical form." Acon leafed through the documents further. "It says here that my mom was mated to him, so he wasn't just some fling. Explains a lot..." She sighed. "The Jayce guy left for another. Damn, what an ass! No wonder my mother doesn't f**king talk to me!"
