[Farewell]

*after a week Gaia and Jacob was able to get out of the hospital* "damn that was forever" *she said sarcastically*

*I walk into the Lovien estate, a contented smile across my face. I pull out a notepad, with various things written on it. I walk to my room, and flop down on the bed, sighing happily.* "Only took forever...but all trace of me has been erased..." *I pull out the notepad, and read it.* "My blood type is O-, I have no kids, I'm not married...brush teeth twice a day, phone number is 336-5149...duh duh duh...Mr. Herman Lovien is my boss. Acon is my handler...my handler? What does that...nevermind...I live in the estate...erm...Dry cleaning every Thursday...all right." *I set the notepad down on the table, and look up at the ceiling. I snap suddenly, and scrabble on the notepad briefly.* "I live and work in Acention City." *I lay back down, and stare at the ceiling, awaiting Mr. Lovien, who was left out of the memory-wiping curse.*

[Aconitum]

A knock was sounded on Ray's door. Acon stood just outside it.

[Rayleonarde]

*I clear my throat.* "Yes? Come on in."

[Aconitum]

Acon entered and removed her coat. "Herman sent me to ask how the memory work was going." She adjusted her gloves and handed Ray a small box. "A gift. And don't forget the party for your 'new life'."

[Rayleonarde]

*I reach for the box, and set it along side the notepad. I grab the pad, and scrabble on it.* "Party for your new life...right...what time was that...Six, right? I'm writing six." *I reach for the box, and shake it lightly.* "What's in it?"

[Aconitum]

Acon sat on a hard wood desk, crossing one leg over the other. "They're new gloves. Top notch vegan leather. Sounds like they would be dainty, but they're actually very tough." Acon held out a gloved paw. Her own glove was decorated with the Lovien family crest.

[Farewell]

Gaia looks at Jacob before leaving the hospital "wanna walk to the apartments with me?" *she asked smiling*

[Rayleonarde]

*I put the gloves on, and flex my paws. The leather creaks for a moment, before adjusting to my paws.* "No prints? Lovely. Oh, and memory work? That's done...Ray is nothing more than a shadow of a rumor." *I sigh, and lay back down on the bed, staring at the old analog clock.* "Now...how do I tell A.M. and P.M. on this...and what does that mean..."

*Jacob Nods and says happily*"Yes...."

[Farewell]

*they walk outside until they are are on the sidewalk and begin to walk home* "I hate surgery, it's the worst.."

[Rayleonarde]

*I turn, and look at Acon.* "Is the party at six?"

[Aconitum]

Acon nodded. "Yeah. Ray, how do you feel about blades?" She asked.

[Rayleonarde]

*I shrug.* "If crafted well, they can do the job. If not...well..." *I shake my head.* "It's not good."

[Aconitum]

Acon sat up. "Yeah... well, at your ceremony you'll need to mark the begining of your new life and the death of your own." Acon pulled back the sleeve of her crimson silk shirt.
