Juka carried Apple around the kitchen in her shirt, preparing breakfast for Jax.

Sipping at it a bit, she widened her eyes and nearly did a spittake when Devin told her that she was the first person he had kissed and the first girl he was attracted to. Swallowing, she blushed and rubbed her forearm, quite surprised that he hadn't been kissed before. "...If I'm honest, you're the first person I've ever kissed too." She looked into her soup. "And... and the other thing too," she said with a smile, too flustered to say the words aloud.

Also, I was a bit scared you were one of the troops at first. But even if you had been one of the troops, I still would have helped you." She rubbed her side, thinking again about her scars. "... It would be wrong to not help someone who needed it."
