Ray was discharged from the hospital for lack of funds and insurance. He stepped outside, and gingerly walked about, trying not to upset his broken bones. Ray sighed, and shivered, as a nasty wind kicked up, bringing snowfall with it. Ray could see his breath, as he exhaled, shivering. He started making his way home, and realized it would be about forty-five minutes until he got there. But that calculation was on a normal stride, with his hobbled gait, it'd take him at least an hour.
