Slash's sunken in eyes moved from his hat atop Ray's head to the blade in his paw before he charged again.

Ray blinked, and jumped back, dislodging the hat from his head. He kept the knife ready, as he watched Slash.

Ray yelped, and drove the knife through the side of Slash's head. He extricated himself from Slash's teeth, and sighed. "What...the hell was that!?"
