Mag rocked herself back and forth in the cell, scared to stand. She hummed the song that played in her wedding, hoping it was just a nightmare... It wasn't.
Hal watched as the restaurant staff slowly stacked the chairs up, he checked his watch, it was after closing time. He turned to one of the employees. "I apologise, but has a woman by the name of Kitten called this establishment to say that she isn't able to make it here?"
The employee —who was a fox, he wore a suit and looked around his mid thirties— looked at Hal. "I'm sorry sir, we haven't received such a call."
Hal nodded. "Thank you, you may leave."
The employee walked away, wondering what was wrong.
Hal sighed and pulled the ring box out of his pocket before starting to fiddling with it, still waiting for Kitten.
Josh laid in bed, not wanting to do anything. He couldn't think straight. He didn't want to loose Con, he loved her.
