Caspar reported to the galley, saluting the Head Chef, as Caspar began awaiting his orders. "Petty Officer Thansan, you're here. Your duties are to wash the dishes. I want it done within the hour." The imposing Polar Bear said. He quickly got on with the dishes, some feeling beginning to return to his usually numb paws, which began to unpleasantly throb due to the sudden change from arctic air to hot water. He ignored the feeling and got on with the work, needing the extra money. After finishing that task, he went out onto the Deck for the remainder of his duties. It was as bitterly cold as always, but Caspar tried to grit his chattering teeth and get on with his work, which as of now was mopping the deck. He kept going, working as quickly as he could to try and warm himself up a little, he then saw someone walk over the area he just cleaned, he sighed and walked over to re-clean it, this seemed to take forever... The ship was rather large, and complex. He looked at the sky, he was met with a blanket of white snow and steel sky. Nothing was remotely colourful around here. He was not suited for these conditions, his ancestors lived in the plains of Africa, whose temperature figures were the same as here but on the positive side of the scale. He finished mopping the Deck after what seemed an eternity, and went down to the mess hall, accidentally bumping into a wolf/husky hybrid, he saw he was a first class petty officer, and Caspar immediately saluted him. "S-Sorry, sir!" He said, still cold.
