"Mark flat out forced you to wear it, you couldn't refuse because he's terrifying and you're timid, and he isn't paying you extra at all, is he?" Aaron said flatly, remembering his he and "she" had first met, knowing how Animus was as a person and putting two and two together. He sighed and petted his head.
"You're a piece of work, Animus." Aaron sighed and smiled inwardly. He'd been just like Animus when he'd lost his parents. His family had brought him up to be strong, they had been his support. And now it seemed that it was Aaron's turn to help somebody else. But under his guidance...what would Animus become?
Aaron felt a thrill of fear. What if he got it wrong, and hurt Animus? Or was blinded by his emotions and obliviously turned Animus into a monster?
He looked at animus, lost in his shame. No...he wasn't a bad kid. Aaron sighed again.
"I see you." Aaron said, referring to the body, mind and soul of Animus in their entireties. "But what do you see, I wonder. Animus...let me...let me be your light. U-until...you learn to see." Aaron blinked and looked away.
