Let me see if I can elaborate my thoughts.

Here is how I thought:
Either you directly controlled the first-person character (I'm guessing it's still the fox lady? :)) and you were recording while you were moving the character around. Which is my first guess.

Or you predetermined the character's movement, animating each movement prior to recording, and recorded while the program was finishing the steps you set up.

If that makes it a bit clearer? :)
