They get very deep in the cave before reaching a room full of centurions I pull my bow out an draw and arrow readying it

*zaida cawed in Rays ear flying of back to lizard* "this seems odd..?" *she says hoping on the floor then flying to his head and looking upside down to him* "this absolutely is not swell!! I'm useless!!" *she flew in the air continuing to caw* "I'm pathetic!! A target!! Ahh!!" *she flew on his shoulder looking at the artifact* "but this oh this seems like a trap!! And I'm going to go first!!"

Ray smiled. "Too easy. There's got to be a challenge. You'll learn nothing if there isn't!" He skipped through the room, and the centurions came to life.

Ray chuckled, and snapped. The centurions began to dance, clumsily and mechanically. He looked at Zaida, and snapped again. She returned to her original form, and Ray laughed. "Dance everyone! Dance!"
