(( Open, paragraph-style RP with my secondary muse, Xotal. Take's place in Mick39's 'New Age' canon on Planet Tal, location: Gold Ring. Gold Ring is the biggest city on the single continental planet, where all races thrive in harmony. Bathed in Vilous's light ( A stationary sun that Tal orbits) Gold Ring is a place for all people to do and live as they please.
While this is set on another planet/world, other non-sergal furries are allowed to join in! Since it has been loosely implied outsiders can arrive and traverse the land as well in the official chapters. NOTE: I will CLOSE this RP to any newcomers once 1-3 people have joined in, which I believe is a fairly manageable amount.))

he city was never dark. Creatures did not know of the night, sleeping whenever they wished instead of when the sky dictated it to be so. The sun was always still, frozen in one place in the sky. While the planet did turn, the biodome that shielded the inhabitants from the harmful rays of the sun, turned with it. Refracting and reflecting the intense while light all about the protected zone. A constant, artificial nocturne.
Thus, there was very few places where the shadows took hold, mostly in the wilderness with strange forests of floral magnitism and stone canyons. In the city, however, there was only one place for such darkness. The most prominent of which, the alleyways.
A corridor-like web, stretching between the massive towers and cubical marketplaces with shops that were never tore down or moved. Ah yes, the alleys. Perfect for the criminal, shifty beasts who knew naught of peace in these tranquil times. But also for the lazy, feral beasts who wished a simpler life full of the hunt and lackidaisy lounging.
This is where we meet once such beast.
A Talyxian, stalker variety, male in blood yet female in genitalia, as was a norm of most Talyxia. They were born hermaphrodites, choosing gender when coming of age. This one, namely 'Xotal', had changed his mind far too late; resulting in the odd mutation. He didn't mind however, such things were trivial matters when you lived in this society. Like most of his kind, as sentient as they were, preferred not to live in the massive housing towers. Such luxuries of amenities and homes were useless to them, preferring to live life on the line in the sprawling streets then settle down for a more complicated life.
He was resting on top of a huge square shaped trash bin, panther-like form lounging on the aluminum sheet that covered the empty canister. Only his central eye of the five remained open, orange irises watching lazily between black metallic lids. The sounds of the city drowned out into the background by the huge, alley walkways that kept him sandwiched between the place.Xotal yawned, grey tongue peeking out and curling before retracting, the huge beast rolling over onto its side and relaxing. Waiting, for anything or anyone.
