Ok but i'm not sure what else Niv can do combat wise. He is to weak to actually hold the guns, he'll punch himself in the face.

Ok that could work. I'll stop with the guns then and edit that out. Most likely he can do the floating thing but only for building and disassembling

You would be suprised how light recoil can be sometimes, especially if you know how to hold it. Thomas could teach you how to hold them!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! Or maybe, an energy weapon. Those would be likely to only emit heat. If you can carry em, you can shoot em.

I doubt we will have energy weapons. If we do they are probably magic based.

Tbh, I don't like the idea of magic everywhere. I mean, unless it can only be used by a select few, why would you need airplanes? Guns? I say do a micro fusion cell or something.

I'd like a world with science and magic blended, I means, a world where magic can't do anything, neither does technology. Like planes are still more maneuverable than airships, and can carry more than personal floating magics, Guns fire singular fast bullets one can't easily dodge while magicians can cast larger-scaled but slower magic attacks.

You all pretty much have the right idea - in posing hypotheticals you're nailing the image in my head! Not everyone can use magic - I mean look at Shane before he got it! He only has the ability because if his folks and even with a White Wing (to be explained) Guardian as a father he was magically retarded...
