"im sorry..." he sunk his head down and frowned more, -whycant you realise i want to talk... i love you for god sake...- he thought, just then a small pop was heard, a small rock had instantly jetted out of nowhere and lanhit Shane on the rump hard.

     "Dammit!" Shane barked as he dropped his book on his face. He sat up and grabbed the rock, pelting it into the horizon. Then in anger he flung is book past Waiven and rolled over, curling up and having a quiet sulk.

Waiven looked at Shane and winced a bit having seen the book flying past him. He relised what had happened and smild a bit before laughing. He couldnt help it, it wasnt completely his fault but emotions sometimes had a ind of their own.

     "What are you so happy about?" Shane asked sullenly, his back to Ven and therefore the world. His eyes were shut for good measure. But he still wanted to know, so he obligingly swivelled an ear around to hear.

Waiven shook his head and quieted down to a giggle, "im sorry its just... sometimes i see you as this stoic guy that doesnt like showing how he really feels. but if something upsets you you make it a point to show it. Youre blunt and quirky and that what i l... l-l-like about you as a friends..." he turned away and whiped his brow, "its like youve barely changed though. and i dont think id ever want you to change... youre perfect..."

     "Yeah right, like I'm perfect..." Shane scoffed. But he actually rolled back onto his previous position, even if he didn't make eye contact with Ven.
    "You're a great friend Ven. If your dream comes along, you take it, though, understand? No matter how much I tell you not to leave me, just...a friend like you deserves to be hap - shut up Ven, you know I'm in a mood."
     Shane smiled awkwardly and stared at the clouds. He raised a hand and made to claw one out of the sky.

Waiven smiled and laid down next to Shane, "i dont think id rather be anywhere else." he said as he stretched out and looked up at him, "besides i dont thik i could leave even if id want to. but you dont know how happy it makes me to hear you say that."

     "Yeah well...we're friends." Shane said as he looked at Ven.
     "This is comfy and all, but..." Shane's belly gurgled. He shrugged and laughed:
     "You heard the boss."

"Alright, finished." Niv was done attaching a speaker system on the exterior of the plane and in his spare time had created several different drones with the help of Einstein. He had created two walkers that could dual wield katanas and fire mounted machine guns, four hover drones with assault rifle attachments and grenade laucher. He also created 6 mini spy drones in the shape of insects, two armored assault drones one with a mini gun and the other with what is know as a Panther assault cannon which fires tank rounds. He loved how fast technomancing made everything. Niv was decked out with all these drones and Einstein, but he knew he needed his friends as well, if they were alive. He got in the transport plane, fired it up.and took to the skies. While in the air he flipped the switch to the speaker system he installed and turned on his microphone. "Attention island of Roost, if there are any surviors, please come to the hangers. I repeat if there are any survivors please comr to the hangers." Niv's voice rang out all over the island through the speakers. He turned off the microphone and turned to Eistein who was sitting in the co pilot seat. "Einstein, lets hope they come." Niv rubbed him on the head and then turned the plane back to the hangers.

"Ah..." Thomas sighed, the pain hitting him like a freight train as he woke, sending him reeling "he closed his eyes, scrunched up his face and gritted his teeth "ah...f*ck! That... Ah..." He paused a moment, breathing heavily

Waiven was slung back to consciousness from Thomas' cries of pain, Waiven scrambled to his side and held his paw, "what can i do? is there a way to lessen the pain? i hate seeing you like this..."

"Yeah... Get some...pills, please." Thomas paused a moment, leaning on a counter and rolling his eyes with a sardonic chuckle "and..I don't like it either!"

Waiven sighed and giggled a bit, "you know what i mean... i... i love you... and i hate seeing you hurt in any way... oh what am i saying you need pills!" Waiven dashed off and scavenged around, he found a stray meicine cabinet broken open, he grabbed a few bottles of pills and brought them back, "here"

"I...love you too!" He smiled up at him weakly, looking through the pills, examining each one carefully. He finally settled on a prescription bottle of codeine "thanks, Ven... You're the best." He smiled briefly, downing the pill with a glass of some clear liquid on the bar... It didn't taste like water.
