"Ya look good!" Thomas said with a smile, looking her up and down briefly in a way that suggested he wasn't ogling her
"I vote we go food. Food is good, especially when your been having army rations for the past few months." He rolled his eyes, giving a chuckle that he would trademark if he could "there a good burger joint around here?"

     "Food!" Shane said and stood bolt upright, his ears shooting skywards. He turned to the bench and splayed his hand, concentrating.

Waiven looked to his phone and smiled, "Japanese steak house!  Can we please? They have a habachi grill!!!" Waiven bounced a little excitedly, he loved Asain foods and really loved it when he got to see the professionals cook so effortlessly, he himself cooked but he usually didnt say much about it, he wasnt sure what the guys would think if they tried his food. They may vomit for all he knew.

     "Hnyg~!" Shane strained, shifting a foot back, his tail raising horizontally and bracing his arm with his other hand.

Waiven saw Shane straining himself, he smiled faintly and knew what he was trying to do. Teleportation and portal magic was tough. Waiven faked a sneeze and sent a small sparkle out, it landed in Shane's fur and seeped into him unnoticingly. Waiven always was eager to help others. Even if they didnt want it.

     "Grrrrrr come on, f**k ya!" Shane strained even harder. A blue magic circle grew rapidly underneath him.
     Blue? That was a -
     "Wait WHA -!?"
     The earth exploded under him as he lost focus and the magic - as yet unbound by the circle - went rampant on the earth. Shane sailed into a tree and yelped like crazy, hidden from sight.

Waiven jumped and went full on panic mode, "Shane!" he rushed over to the tree and waved his hand, the tree slowly brought Shane to the ground. "are you okya?! oh of course youarent! oh my god!"

     "Back off!" Shane barked, his tail right between his legs. He had a small cut above his eye and a few lacerations on his arms. He hobbled behind the tree and sat down with his face hidden from view.

Waiven jumped back and whimpered, "Sh-Shane please... l-let me just heal you..." he reached his paw out to Shane a bit scared. The night had started off so well...

Thomas rushed over to Shane, unsure of what to do. They were both magic users, and he was sitting here, the lone techie. So, in order to nit intrude, he stood close by, the worry clearly showing on his face

     Shane growled long and low, still sitting hunched by the tree. He fell silent awhile and eventually sighed.
     "Mark the seat with a holo-sign saying where we're going for anyone else okay Ven?" Shame said tearily from within his ball of pain.

Waiven lowered his ears... maybe... maybe he wouldve done it right if he hadnt interfered.
"n-no..." He slapped Shane on the shoulder while his paw glwed a faint green. Shane's wounds disappeared and Waiven grabbed him by the arm, "Again..."

Thomas was there, quickly offering the best comfort he could "hey, at least you can do that! That's something, no?"
He turned to ven "hey... You did your best. Ain't nithing you could have done better. He's all better now. No harm done!"

     "Urrrrrgh, I don't want to," Shane growled but stood up anyway. He strode heavily into position and tried again. This one a small orange magic circle made itself apparent in the palm of his outstretched hand and was apparently on fire. From it a rotating series of flaming letters floated into a revolving circle around his arms.
     On the bench, a smaller circle formed, a plain orange ring floating just above the wood.
     "Moyasu!" He snapped in Japanese. Burn. The blazing letters shot towards the circle in no particular order until the message 'gone to eat in food court - Shane Adarts'
     Shane fell back from the effort as the tiny circle in his hand burned out. He panted on the spot and stared up at the sky.
