Waiven rubbed Shane on the back comfortingly, "see?"

     "No. I hate magic." Shane grumbled, wiggling his tail at his friend'd touch. He stood and hugged himself.
     "Why is it so goddamn hard? I don't even have a magical deficiency!" The black furred wolf cringed. His father could make circles as wide as their house with a single fingertip, effortlessly. So why could that man's en blood not put up a simple freaking holo-sign?
     "Time for lunch. Let's hit the food court - we can all eat to our tastes there."

"Magic is fickle... for some it works better than for others... its nothing wrong with you i promise." Waiven gave Shane a quick hug then slowly he reached into hispocket and pulled out a ring of many keys, he flipped through them until he found a small bronze looking one, "food courts it is then." he went to a nerby door and pushed the key into the lock, the edges of the door glowed, Waiven opened it and on the other side appeared to be their destination, "come on" he said with a smile

     "Those keys," Shane grinned and followed his friend. "Don't shut the door on Tom."
     The food court was bustling with lunchtime hungry people and the smells were overwhelming but not unpleasantly so. It was a whole new world in here.

Waiven looked at the courts and hugged himself. People were here... he slowly made his way in, he saw many furs giving him the eye, he looked to the floor and followed close behind Shane, "stop looking" he whispered low enough for only him to hear

     "You'd think all the locals would recognise you by now, but no, they all stare like you're a new and exciting option on some menu. You gotta get your body checked out, man!" Shans laughed as he looked around at all the franchises and establishments offering various edibles.

Thomas sighed, stepping through the door. It gave him a weird feeling in his gut, much like riding a roller-coaster. He shook his head, the first thing he noticed was all of the people. A few of them were gazing at Waiven, so tom stood real close, attempting to show off the fact that Ven was his, without embarrassing him too much

     Shane held his head high but inside he screamed and coiled up. In their eyes they said:
     Look at him, it's Shane Adarts, the Guardian's son! The expectations if the people were crushing Shane on a daily basis - but he'd never show it.
     "I'm getting a sub." He promptly decided, making towards the Subway franchise.

"Sh-Shut up.... You may be okay with the masses obsessing over you but to me it's so unnerving...." Waiven looked around he ually went straight towards chinese or something of the sort, but he really didnt want to eat alone either, "T-Thomas? Where would you like to eat?" he wanted something to hold onto just for today, he slowly hugged Thomas' arm and slightly hid behind him looking around, they still looked. Waivn however felt a little less nervous. "Is... is it alright if i do this?"

"Of course you can do this!" Thomas said, a smile played across his lips. In all honesty, there was other things he wished Waiven would do, but that was for another time.
"What to eat...what to eat..." He muttered, looking around at his options. Most of them seemed really good. It took him a minute, but he decided on a Five Guy's burger joint. He walked over to it, Waiven in tow.

Waiven hadnt eaten at Five Guy's before but heard about it. Of course he never was a fan of burgers. Chicken however.... was a yes. He hugged onto Thomas' arm a bit tighter and thought for a moment, although Thomas was blunt, he was sweet. He cared for him. Wait, was Waiven actully starting to... like Thomas? Waiven realised he was staring up to Thomas.

Thomas looked down to Waiven with a wide smile, just looking into her eyes a moment
"so... What looks good?"  The menu was quite simple; they had burgers, small burgers, and hot dogs. But they were damn good, he knew from experience. The fries were just to die for!

Waiven blushed and looked away quickly, "t-two hot dogs... one with mustard and one with ketchup... large fries... and diet coke please.." Waiven gulped as his mind reeled

"Alright..." Hearing the gulp and sensing something was wrong, Thomas said "hey, hey... I'm here for you. No need to be worried, Ven."

Waiven looked back up to Thomas and nodded, a slight smile on his face. Hearing Thomas say that made him feel so happy for whatever reason, his chest tightened a little. Then bam. He knew he was changing back. From transition of female to male it was always much slower. Which Waiven liked allowing him to change clothes and wash the makeup off. "Thomas... i have to... 'change'" his chest shrunk down a bit more, "ill be back" he slowly pulled away from Thomas reluctantly nd rushed to the Mens room.
