Ok so we have: Fuse, shazza, Lennox, and blue paws active. and we need to get rid of the other 4 characters who are involved right?
My current Idea to get us back on our feet is:
The police do a sweep of the sewers and find Lock and shepard, a gun fight ensues. Illusion dives down to aid, while yelling at lennox to run. Karthus also heads down himself, but arrives right near the end of the fight.
Illusion is killed, Shepard is knocked into a coma, Lock is badly injured and decides to return to his garden rather than face the police again. Karthus gets shot a few times, but is basically OK, however when he returns to base (carrying Lock and Shepard) he decides that the remaining 2 or 3 of us (cant remember if blue-paws is part of the organization...
) are responsible somehow for Illusions death and Shepard's current state, and refuses to work with us again.
Those of us still in the game can continue trying to save lennox while these events are happening, effectively getting the plot going again.
Result:
Shepard - in coma, can wake up if he wants
Lock - Badly injured, can return if he wants
Karthus - Blames us for illusions death, can return if he wants.
Illusion - Is dead, probably can't come back.
The four of us are now on our own.
The organization loses its leader, presumably handing leadership duties to Lock.

We can do most of that 'Off screen', with us hearing the police and the shots being fired, but not what the characters are actually doing, I view this as a good thing, we don't want to define their characters to much in case they return. The only one who is being PowerPlayed a little too much IMO is Karthus, however one of them must be able to carry the bodies back to base, and still have a reason not to return to the group later, so I feel its unavoidable.
Do you think this is workable?
