Our security course webpage has a background sequence of numbers, this being a security course it almost definitely has a meaning. I have the image for the numbers but getting the numbers to plain text isn't really working with online OCR's, there are over 1,000 numbers so to get them to plain text I'd have to type them all out it seems.

Our Lecturer Richard Buckland has an ARG called "Puzzle quest" which I believe this could be a part of. It's a multi-course ARG that is sponsored by Google, in 10 years no one has ever solved it, but people have been trying.

Are you sure it's Google? Not Niantic Labs?
Because Niantic Labs have ARG of their own (Ingress's lore) and helper with Endgame AND are part of Google

So on the numbers, I was trying to solve it and stuff and asked people and what-not, but unfortunately someone just googled it and gave the answer.

Turns out it was unsolvable an as of yet unsolved famous cipher, but I dunno, I feel pretty bummed, I was trying to find it out on my by doing analysis and stuff, on my own and with other people, and these people are like "Lol I googled it and found it in four seconds" and they act so smart and shit. It's just, annoying, I was trying to FIND it myself, for fun, as a puzzle. Not google it, not just GET the answer, I'm a bit pissed, especially cause these people think they're super smart for doing it.

*sigh* Googling is a valid way to solve problems for sure, but I was doing this as a puzzle.
