Utopia Burns

[Ori]

 In the dark room of the HQ's mission room, Lock stood quietly. He had pictures of a teenage boy who was currently being held up in a house for dressing 'inappropriately,' in the public. He looked at the leader for the signal to show the pictures.

[kalan]

The police sirens cut through the silence of the night. He never liked the sirens, ghost wailing in the night. Kalan found himself crouched down in a window sill watching the police surround the house across the street. I wonder what this one did he thought to himself. He took a quick count of the men on the ground too many to take out alone, at least not without endangering bystanders. He looked around and then off into the distance "where are they" he whispered

[Angder]

Fuse sat, somewhat awkwardly, in his seat. Around him were the shadowy figures of the other people going on this mission. He did not really know why he was here, he was just the tech guy, what could he do? Still, he received the Invitation so he came, just like everyone else, he couldn't not come could he? Fuse glanced around nervously, the people around him were strangers, oh sure he knew who they were, but he did not know them, not properly. He flinched as one of them leaned forward in their seat suddenly, at this rate he would barely make it through the meeting, let alone the mission...

[Ryan Naismith]

"Show the pictures." Shepard said with an adjustment of his headband. As he did, a newsfeed projected behind him, depicting dozens of police cars, sirens wailing, surrounding some suburbial residence. "The benefactors have surrounded that building, with intent to 'reeducate' the child within. Our job is to get him out. With the help of our illusionist, I will make contact with the child, tell
Him we're on the way. Then, with the help of out illusionist, we'll get him out, through a sewer line running under his house. We'll navigate under his house, and use explosives to pierce through. Our illusionist will muffle the explosion. Any questions?"

[Tim Siguire]

Shazza hung from a small balcony in the HQ. It was primarily where he slept. It had his bed a little further back from the edge and some magazines to read or look at. He was wearing a long sleeved coat with metal rings on the end. He used those rings to pack some punch if he didn't have his gloves.
Watching the report and listening to the plan. He generated a tiny, but dim light to act as his focus point. He pointed to the picture of the police.
"Won't they storm in once they realize the kid isn't there? . . . our job IS to get him out with little backfire.."
Im gonna get alot of flak for even saying this.. He thought
"Who's our illusionist? and when do we start this op?"

[Ori]

Lock handed the pictures out with little emotion, it was his way of showing nervousness or being shy.
 "If I may... I have the ability to grow plants, I can tear a hole into a basement from the sewers. I can grow giant tree roots to do that for me. It shouldn't take too much time, maybe half a minute at most."

[Ryan Naismith]

Shepard gave a shrug, nodding his head "sounds good to me. i mean, it has to be quieter than explosives, thank you. but, I still need the rest of you on standby. just in case" he turned to shazza "and, our plan is to get him out, and be long gone before they realize that.  our illusionist..." He pointed to illusion "is him." he nodded, thinking his plan was airtight. But, as an old friend of his named murphy once said, what can go wrong, will go wrong. So, he planned for the worst.

[kalan]

The numbers around the house continued to grow, if they dont get here soon we're gonna have every cop around to deal with he thought to himself. Bluepaws continued to watch the situation wait watching for the action to start he was growing impatient but for now wait was the only option.

[Oedipus Rex]

Karthus folded his forelegs and cocked his head a bit at the mention of the sewers.
"How big are these seweres? I'm not too keen to go crawling around in the muck." He asked, looking at Shepard.

[Ori]

"They shouldn't be too big." admitted Lock.

[Oedipus Rex]

He sighed, emitting a bit of a rasp. "Sounds fun, I hope this kid appreciates this."

[Angder]

"Why am I here" Fuse said, he glanced around, he then looked down, a guilty expression on his face "I mean I'm not saying I don't want to help I mean, its just that... well..." he glanced at Lock nervously.

[Ori]

"I'm sure the kid will, Cho'gath." said Lock, imagining the kid to bow to the whole of them after this was said and done. "Anyhow the reason you are here with us is because, you may come in very handy with your ability to have access to electronic devices from a distance. For an example, if the police try to track us down, it would be definitely nice to have someone that can shut off there radar. If you do not wish to fight. We can fight for you. Is there anything else leader?"

(OOC - If you say yes, I will drive us ahead to the next town to save the kid. We will be riding in a van. If you guys wish to ride in something else, go straight ahead. Everything will be in a place called the Techies Garage. A room not too far from the room we're currently in.)

((right, remember, you guys are gonna be on backup. remember, only me and lock will be in the sewers, you guys will be on backup. of course, something will go wrong, and you guys will be needed.

[Ori]

 "Here we go!" said Lock dashing out of the dark room, a little too excited. HE makes his way to the garage.
(The garage is essentially a really big elevator. If you want to leave with a vehicle, You ask the techies. They will have the room elevated to above ground.)
 The van was perfect for blending in with the normal people. It was a simple commercial white van. Inside of course was a different ball game. The walls were lined with 2 layers of Kevlar, computer screens were mounted to the walls.  The windows seemed to be painted black, but  behind it is a sheet of metal.  There were also a few guns inside, and many tightly packed seats. The floor of the van had a door for this specific operation. The door could be opened and if there was a pot hole that lead to the sewers underneath it, you can open it and leave the vehicle without too much hassle. Or sometimes deploying car tire spikes, or mines, was a viable option.
 Lock jumps into the driver's side and pressed a button on the ceiling of the van. It was a button that worked like a walkie talkie, but it only picked up the signals from the techies and the organization.
