Ray cleared his throat. "Y-Your...pilot, sir? S-She told me you're l-looking for crew?"

[Aconitum]

The captain leaned closer to Ray with a raised brow. "Depends. Who's askin?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray flinched. "R-Rayleonarde, s-sir."

[Aconitum]

The captain nodded and his wide smile returned. "And what exactly is Rayleonarde lookin for on the Ol Rick Danger?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray shrugged. "A-A place to work, sir?"

[Aconitum]

The captain's ears perked and he let out a short bark of a laugh. "There's more than that, Rayleonarde. Work, yes, but what about flying calls to you?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked. "I-I've...I've always wanted to fly, sir."

[Aconitum]

The captain pursed his lips and eyed Ray a moment before ordering another round. "I'll get it outta ya somehow." He grinned with pride. "You're hired."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray smiled. "T-Thank you, sir. I-I'll have to go pack my belongings. U-Uh...i-if that's okay, sir?"

[Aconitum]

The captain nodded. "Take Acon with ya. When you're done, she'll show ya to the ship. We depart tomorrow."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray smiled, and saluted. "Thank you, sir." He shot out of the pub, and ran towards his little hovel. Ray yelped, as he saw a part of it was burning, and ran inside.

[Aconitum]

Acon raised a brow and followed Ray. "W-what's the matter?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray came outside, carrying a few boxes. He set them down. "Some...some rogues. They always try to burn me out." Ray ran back inside, and disappeared in the smoke.

[Aconitum]

Acon crossed her arms as she watched Ray. "Need a paw?"

[Rayleonarde]

The smoke died down, and Ray walked out, dragging a large palette of small boxes behind him. His eyes were glassy, and his hat smoldered slightly. A pair of goggles, with different colored lenses, sat around his neck.
