I think a furniture/decor mod would be pretty cool, heard good things about Crayfish.

i found mr.crayfish mod looks really good and it dosent change the gameplay a whole lot

Before suggesting any mods or plugins, ask yourself these questions

1. Is it compatible with minecraft 1.8?
2. Does it require a whole new reset? (This is like Tekkit, FTB and stuff like that, for now we won't be doing that, but we could do it maybe later but it'll require installing whole new mods, this may include a new Essentials mod or equivalent which would mean all people who are currently members, trusted, mod or whatever would probably be reset).
3. Who else, besides myself, would want this mod?

It won't. It only adds new blocks and recipes. The reset is for naturally occuring resources and structure, and as far as I know Crayfish recipes don't use new items and blocks for the recipes, just vanilla stuff

Can guarantee I'll miss the poll because of time zones and my poor net access so can I post a vote *for* now? If not that's okay too - to be honest I really don't care at all, but if the others are keen then I'll drop a good poll tally! I love Minecraft.

The mod is a server mod, you don't need to install the mod on your client to play it...

I admit I am not sure I want to join though... I feel like a lot of drama comes out of this thread and also past experience shows that MC brings out the worst in me sometimes. I will see how I feel later.

Also has everyone just forgotten about This thread? We already have a TFF server using mods, why do we need to mod this one?

While it's nice to see that White now has his own server, the mods in use cause framerate issues on weaker Machines and lag. For people like me that makes playing impossible, because my laptop isn't very powerful, and my internet is bad.

However this server is better for smaller amounts of modding, because if the mods are chosen carefully, there will be little to no impact on framerate and lag.

I will actually ask, is Treecapitator on this server? cutting down trees can be such a pain without it.

Took a look through this thread (+ related bits), I think I should keep this server at arms length actually, seems to carry more drama than the rest of the forum combined. 

A little disappointing.
