Never leave chests lying around unless you want them to be stolen. You can't trust anyone.

ive got a few but my most important one is covered in obsidian and now lava just whos doing it can stop its mean and it drives users away from the server

THIS GOES TO ANYONE WHO TRIES TO TOUCH MY BASE UR GONNA DIE NOW i have had to take extreme measures and i have had to cover it in lava because someone finds it fun to take my stuff so who ever is doing t thanks alot ur ruining my experience and making me think about just giving up on the server because its not cool to steal when ive worked so hard ive lost iro mutiple times its no funny anymore and taking apart my village thats just pure rude so who ever is doing it stop now

Anoni (and other mods I think) is able to see who's touched any chest, so ask them and they might be able to track who's been touching your stuff.

Eeeeh, that's not exactly true. We don't have any chest protection mods enabled yet, I haven't found one I thought was suitable

well we need one or its gonna drive users away because of theft because its not on really ive left servers because of it but when ive reported it with screens shots they said good luck and banned me for it

We just need to find a chest protection bukkit plugin that works with 1.8

Server is currently updating. I am backing up the entire server in case anything goes wrong in the update, expect some small downtime

i go for one night to sleep and i wake up to someone have ruined my glass rooftop so if anyone feels like admitting to it come to me otherwise everyone will take the punishment and i dont care what anoni or the other mods say what is done to be shall be done back i will count the blocks missing and those same amounts shall be taken by me i hope it dont need to go this far but any more and i will take it to the point of doing it

I understand you're angry saph, but griefing to stop griefing won't work at all.

Besides, the only reason we aren't punishing anyone is because we don't know who to punish, however if you grief and it's provable you'll be punished (just because we know who to be punished).

It seems this person is only griefing Saph, because as far as I know, no one else has been griefed.

Does anybody want that grief protection plug in?

It enforces a bit of stuff, people get their own land where others can't grief, it's automatic but will take a little while to configure

It stops griefing but may limit freedom of build. So it's what you guys want



Besides Saph, from what you've told me, only a little bit of glass was stolen. I mean, I've had my house been stripped of quite a bit of sand (for the walls) before, but I didn't consider it griefing really xD
