If I recall, there was a bukkit plugin that had different factions. You could restrict block destroying/placing on faction-owned grounds unless you're a part of the faction. Maybe this plugin will help.

I dunno, I think there was a button that let me submit my text or it submitted automatically.
Either way, my "mobile device" *Aheghm!*ps3*... doesn't submit by itself.

Why do you want to be a mod?: I want to be able to act on suspicious activity instead of just standing idle waiting for a moderator, as well as being able to stop bad things from happening before they start.
How active are you?: I haven't been too active because of college, but I will most likely be on daily for a few hours
Do you have any experience?: Yes, quite a bit actually! Though it is not up right now, I have my own Minecraft server that I have had for a few years (about 2-3). I've been modded on a few other servers, but those have all died out.



Also, a little note. My old base, the big wooden plus sign, is vacant now. Anyone can take it, though it seems saph was interested.

Don't vandalize anything? If everyone just does that, it won't happen, now will it?

I don't think that will work.

I'll see if I can find that factions plugin I was talking about. If it doesn't stop the vandalizing, it'll make it really easy to find out who did it.

Well, if people didn't vandalize or steal, it actually would be pretty effective. It's not that hard to do.

Looks like someone placed that block/built that house/town/etc? Don't wreck it.

Looks like someone placed that chest filled with shit? Don't touch it.

People should also start utilizing the Lockette plugin.



Also just a shoutout, to anyone wanting Prismarine stuff, I've just cleared a temple of the elder guardians, at 1303/48/3398, so if you want those blocks, feel free to mine the temple.

Because it's easier not to just not do something than it is to go out and do it? Griefing and stealing take a little bit of effort. Not much, but more than not griefing and not stealing does.

I've decided to be the one to put the effort into finding a good anti-grief plugin.
