I got what ya meant, no worries. It's nice to be able to know there's people of the same sexual orientation to talk to relatively easy, not many openly gay or bi people at my school to be honest. The ones who are, they ain't the best people

My school had one gay person (that I knew of) and he was bullied till he transferred. He was an alright guy but we just weren't similar enough to be friends. We ran cross country together so we were casual friends but didn't really associate outside of that.

The school I grew up in was full of homophobes. Nobody was openly gay or bi in any way. Such a sad place to be really.

Damn I hope he's okay wherever he may be. Hope you don't get that kinda thing. I don't get bullied about it to my face but I know people judge my friends for hanging out with me. I feel bad for that.

That sucks, I came out as a response to a joke insinuating I was gay, "actually you're close but not quite" and explained from there. A good amount of people respected me for that for some reason for a few days after. then rumours were all like "he came out in the changing rooms during PE" as if, it was in chemistry

I know a couple people like that. One of them asked me out to which I said yes. But we never got anywhere. I mean we are still friends and all but the things you hear are just terrible nowadays. People need to be prejudiced about something. People need drama in their lives and it's just sickening the lengths they will go through to achieve these lengths.

I dated a friend who wanted to see if he liked guys...bad idea...I regret that. Still if I helped him learn about himself I guess that's a plus

Yeah it's nice to see that someone would do that for a friend even if they do regret it in the long run. Most people would be horrible to start of with, so props to you Josh

Well it started as doing...stuff to see if he was into guys. Then it got a little more serious, at least on my end but he said sure to dating so we went for it. He ended up making jokes about me in a sorta "covering his tracks" kinda way. I kinda couldn't deal with that and broke it off, albeit gently.

Ahh okay. I'm guessing you asked him to stop with those kinds of jokes a few times before leaving him then?

Never had the time, about the time he started making them he had moved further away, causing us to meet less outside of school. We drifted apart and I was sat there hating myself for being dumb enough to let the whole thing happen. I felt used. Even now I feel the relationship was a little one-sided.
