...Sapiosexual is actually kind of ableist? You can't necessarily tell someone's intelligence by looking at them and any time I've seen it, it's been used in a holier than thou sort of way that implies it is somehow better because said sapiosexuals don't engage in sex, or to discriminate against disabled people. And even so, how does one define intelligence for these standards? Is it good grammar? The ability to do math and understand/rehearse westernized ideas that are considered "intelligent?" Formal education? The latter can also make the idea somewhat classist as well since not everyone can afford a formal education. I feel like these are the reasons why Sapiosexuality isn't listed as a 'thing,' really. It is more of a problematic term than anything else. But anyway, I digress. I'm not here to start arguments.
I consider myself a number of things; aromantic, some form of asexual with a pan preference? Sexuality is weird. I guess I could just sum it up and say my orientation is "shrug, that's cool."
