Outlast

[Aconitum]

The jackal stepped out from behind her corner and looked around uneasily at the dead inmates around her.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray glared at the speakers. "I swear...I'll kill you next."  He then turned his attention to the skittish jackal. "What's your name?" He sat on his feet, and kept the pipe across his knees. "I'm Ray."

[Aconitum]

The jackal thought a moment before she stepped closer to Ray, holding out a file with 'Aconitum' written in the front.

[Farewell]

*the doctor laughs* "I'll see you until then!!!"

Ray smiled. "Aconitum. Like the flower." He took the file, and started reading, glancing up at the jackal, obviously Aconitum, every so often.

[Aconitum]

Acon rocked back and forth on her heels as she waited for Ray to finish reading.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray offered her a smile. "Not much here, height, weight, measurements. Can you speak?" He stuffed the file into his jacket, with the others he'd collected.

[Aconitum]

Acon shook her head, rubbing her throat.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray ran a paw through his hair, nervously. "A mute, and I don't know sign language. We're gonna get along great." He smiled, and stood, offering his paw to Acon. "You seem rather normal for being in here."

[Aconitum]

Acon smiled brightly and nodded as she took Ray's paw. Around the base of Acon's tail, was a scrunchy made of human skin, but she figured she'd only tell him if he asked.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray spotted the scrunchie, but ignored it for the time being. He continued down the hall, listening intently for anything moving.

[Aconitum]

As they moved, Acon jumped in the puddles of blood like a little kid. Her eyes glittered as she watched the fur on her bare feet become stained with crimson.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray looked at Acon a moment, before sighing. "I don't know why you're in here, but if you want to escape, and not get sent to another asylum, you need to control yourself."

[Aconitum]

Acon stopped and lowered her ears, nodding.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray looked at Acon, and gently took her chin in his paw. "Hey, I'm a psychiatrist. I'll help you out, every step of the way, okay?" Well, he wasn't exactly a psychiatrist, but he minored in psychology.
