Teamspeak is a program that allows you to talk to other people in the same channel and lets you pop in and out at you leisure!
It also does not slow down your computer like Skype does and is completely free and easy to set up!


If you want to download Teamspeak to join us just go here and select the right download for your OS (It support basically everything!)


To set it up they have a(n unnecessarily long) video to help

Anyway, I've had this Teamspeak server up for a few years for a few friends, and since going to college, they haven't really been on... (maybe 1 a month if I'm lucky).


So I was thinking that I should extend a welcome to all the people of the forum! This Teamspeak server will most likely be just for chatting, but I can make separate channels for different things (games perhaps). Everything should be set up and ready to use all you have to do is put in the ip and a name and you'll be good to go!

The server might be slow at first because its new and not many people know about it. Also, I'm the one that is hosting it, not some person I rented it from, so if my power goes out, or anything strange happens, I'll have to fix it. I'll try my best to always be on so that I can see when problems occur so I can deal with them as soon as possible. I have school everyday, though different times, so I wont be on from 9-1 or 2.

No, I have a southern accent, from the US. I find it very rude and annoying when I'm in a skype game chat and people are stopping to mimic what I just said, making it sound far more southern than what I said to begin with.

I just tried signing on to the server, and I got this error message in the chat: "insufficient client permissions (failed on i_channel_needed_subscribe_power)". I've only used TeamSpeak on one occasion before tonight and am kinda lost... I don't even know what that error means. Could someone please help me out?
