So, with the first month of the year over, I figured I'd start up the statistics posting again.
The statistics I'm giving here make use of the server logs to show trends and information of all visitors to the forum.
Note: All statistics are correct as of 1st February, 12:03 GMT.
Last month the forums transferred nearly 25 GIGABYTES of data and has so far experienced 97.83% uptime. This means that per visit each user downloads 641 KB of data through an average of 3.21 visits per visitor. This doesn't include over 15 GB of bandwidth from bots etc.
The busiest day this month was the 9th (over 1.05 GB) and the quietest was the 1st (over 558 MB). Interestingly the busiest days of the week are Wednesday and Saturday with the quietest being Thursday. Most visits occur around 9pm GMT (3pm Central) with the least at 10am GMT (4am Central).
According to the statistics the busiest country is the USA followed by the UK. We've also had visitors from Australia, Faroe Islands, South Africa, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, China, Singapore, Russia, Ukraine, the Netherlands, France, Norway, Germany, Malaysia, Italy, Poland New Zealand, Brazil, Argentia and Switzerland.
The top 25 users shows Angder having used the most bandwidth this month closely followed by Ratleonardewith Alistair at the bottom of the top 25 - a difference of over 2 GB of data.
When it comes to various robots and spidersGooglebot has used 6.3 GB.
Most visits last between 0 and 30 seconds (probably bots) with the next largest visit being over an hour! The average overall is about 17 minutes.
51% of users use Windows with 34% using 7 followed by 10% using 8 and then X.P with 2%. Mac accounts for 1.4% of visits with all visitors using OS X. Linux is at 10% with the majority using Android although Ubuntu and Debian are shown too. Other operating systems include iOS, PS3, Wii, Blackberry and Symbian.
When it comes to browsers Chrome has 39.9%. Firefox accounts for 39.8% of visits. IE, Safari, Opera, Mozilla, iPhone and Android are also used.
94% of users have the site bookmarked or browse directly whereas 5.2% come from Search engines. Another 0.7% are linked from various sites.
