"Youll have to sleep too"
Thoughts are like arrows: once released, they strike their mark, guard them well or one day you may be your own victim.

She looked at him. "But what if something bad happens..." She said a bit worried about the sergals.

She sighed and nods lightly then crawls onto the bed feeling less stressed about the sergals. "Ok"

She nods trusting the deer. "Ok" she grabs some of the blanket laying under and resting her head on a pillow. "Very comfortable..."

Upon gaining a significant enough distance to not be a target of the Northerners, Galen said "Now, where was I. Oh yes, the sword." He landed in the nearest clearing among the trees which dotted the strip of land between the forest and the beach. Shifting his hands to those of a human to aid in dexterity, he removed the sergal-forged weapon: a dark, straight-edged blade resembling a cross between a tanto knife and falchion, displaying a smooth finish and a somewhat ornate grip of dark wood and a pommel of dark-green corundum. "Must have killed someone of at least some importance." He bent the buckel of the sheath's belt, which had been warped following his hasty acquisition of the weapon, back into shape. Putting the diligently-sharpened blade back into it's sheath, he strapped the almost arm-length weapon to his back, and continued on his way, having sustained no lasting marks from his short fight besides the sergal blood which had dyed his claws and fingers a shade of red, soon washed away in the cool waves of the shore. After doing so, he walked into the forest of tallk trees enough to find one with branches suitable enough to rest within, away from the pests and dangers of the night.

Zaida only thought what the tribes were doing a bit worried if they would come after her. She tossed and turned unable to sleep and sighed closing her eyes trying to block the bad memories.

She flinched hearing the deer. "I don't want to be hunted..." She sighed.
The general came back to the tribe. "Forgive me, they have escaped great wise alpha leader"
The tribe leader finally stood from his throne standing over the sergals. "We must please the gods..." He said calmly. "They will curse our tribe... Find them or I'll be taking you one by one..." He hissed.
The leader yelled at the tribes in their ancient language. (Gtg to bed, camping tomorrow. G,night)

Galen came to wonder if a bipedal deer eating a wild deer could  count as cannibalism, before suddenly realizing he had eaten very little prior to gutting of the northern sergal. "Well, in the morning I should find something of value to eat which does not know a spoken language. But for now... rest." he thought, drifting to dream of his treasured, if not truly glorious, destination.

As the sun rose slowly over the coastal landscape, he made his way deeper into the bushes in hope of finding game worth hunting. Although his search was reaching its third hour with no sight of another animal, he heard a distant rustle, followed by a glimpse of brown moving through the forest. Following the animal, soon seen to be a deer, he nocked an arrow and released it with the hushed strum of a bowstring, and the creature was wounded, but not yet dead. Rushing forward, he quickly ended the deer's panicked struggles with a clean motion of his dagger, and set to producing a fire from the flint in his pack, careful to use only the driest woods to prevent detection from a column of smoke, which might emanate from a fire of green or moist branches. Some time later, with a fire crackling in the midst of a clearing and venison hung above it, he sat taking inventory of his posessions, which included a map, which did not include this region, and was devoid of any information as to his current location.
