"Well", said Galen,"the people are interesting at least. The land however, is not so interesting as you might think, or at least the parts I have seen lately. I now know what it is like to walk across a plainsland for days on end, and I can say with absolution that it is the most uneventful, unremarkable, mind-numbing trek you might ever have to experience."

"Yes maybe my tribe can show you the land more, tomorrow after the sacrifice" he smiled. "For now we shall feast then after we shall rest. You both can have a tent" He arrived at the tribe that rested on top of the mountain.
The others took Zaida's qrmor and weapons. After they tied her up to the tree the northern sergals looking at her and threatening.

"Yes after the... sacrifice... very well then." Galen hid his wings with a faint mist of blue light, and carried on with an intrigued, if somewhat disturbed, attitude.

"Sacrifice?"*He stops in his tracks*

"Yes sacrifice we will please the Gods with the one who does not belong, We shall celebrate for our victory!"
Zaida snarled a bit under the rope that held her snout shut but she was only wearing leather loinclothes leaving her weak so she stayed still and silent to avoid harm.

Galen walked over to the strange, brightly colored creature walking alongside what was likely the leader of these warriors. "And what might you be?", he asked, "at first I might have thought you were a deer of some type, but considering that I have never seen any deer of any such color, I don't think that is correct, is it?"

"A sergal" the leader spoke in a deep husky voice. "I am a north sergal" the large light blue sergal with glowing white eyes stared down Galen while he sat in his what it seemed to be his throne. "And we are not reptiles."
Zaida saw everyone distracted and slowly moved her flexible body around loosening the ropes.

"Apologies, your uh... honor. Also, how about that great red deer over there? Now HE looks like a totem, or something of the sort. I haven't had much experience with the sentient deer species."

"He is traveler like you, I'm sure... Only in my tribe are sergals you both are the first LIVING Furries we seen at our land...most wash up ashore at the southerns beach..."
Zaida finally got the rope off that was tied around her snout.

"Well, I'd imagine it's because you happened to choose one of the furthest edges of the unknown world as your capital. There is definitely no lack of other people in the world, it's simply that the distance is great, and the motives for travelling this far are nonexistant for most of the people I've seen, both human and nonhuman" said Galen, as he shifted his right hand from midform to human and back in an instant. "And I would know. You could say I'm a bit of both."

"Well It's pleasant to meet both, please enjoy the feast" the leader greeted.
Zaida got her tail free and began to untie the ropes with her tail until being slammed by the General. "Don't you try to escape!" He hissed and began to hit Zaida as a punishment.
She roared and snapped at him but other northerns came and pinned her to the tree tying her back up as she was punished.

"Wonder what's the history behind that one", he muttered with a secretive tone to the deer,"seems almost feral to me. Anyways, what brings you to this fine, if somewhat brutally religious, civilization on the edge of known earth?"

"We've been here for many generations, it's unknown to were we came from, but we've learned to live here and worship our gods."
Zaida cursed at the general in her language and spat blood.
The general hissed back and walked away back to the leader and the other northerns went back to there celebration.

"Sorry for the lack of introduction, although I am sure you would understand why following the events of today. Might have heard your name at some point I think. During the fight on the beach. Jeremiah, is that correct?" Galen asked of the red deer, with a slight sense of tension following the sight of the bloodied sergal.
